Inflight ICU - The Guardian

Startup

Inflight ICU is dedicated to transforming the way critical care patients are transported over long distances by equipping commercial aircraft with a modular Intensive Care Unit (ICU), The Guardian, which is installed on a return flight basis. Our purpose is to offer a lower-cost and environmentally friendlier alternative to private air ambulances, which are costly and produce significant CO2 emissions.  The Guardian is a proprietary Patient Transport Compartment (PTC) that enables commercial airlines to temporarily function as fully equipped ICUs for patient transfers between continents. Our innovation aims to make advanced critical care repatriation more accessible, efficient, and sustainable for patients, insurers, and healthcare systems globally.
