Dr. John Williams is a Ph.D. mathematician whose career has straddled the nexus between artificial intelligence, weather, and optimal decision theory, particularly in the area of aviation weather. He worked for 18 years in the Aviation Applications Program at the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research before joining The Weather Company in 2015. He is currently a Senior Technical Staff Member and Head of Weather AI Sciences.
