Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Javier Martos came across the aviation industry by chance, when he started working for Spain's air navigation manager, AENA (now ENAIRE), more than 15 years ago. A few years later, captivated by this industry, Javier decided to “change sides” and join 2e Systems in Frankfurt, Germany. At 2e Systems, he played a significant role in developing one of the first DCS-agnostic online check-in solutions for airlines. Eventually, he transitioned to development and product management and became involved in the fascinating world of online booking, offers & orders, and NDC. Javier currently serves as the Head of Product Management at 2e Systems, where he is passionate and committed to overseeing the evolution of the company's offerings to ensure airlines have the solutions they require, from online check-in and booking to passenger and crew communications and more.
