Monika Pogorzelska-Maziarz, Professor, Villanova University

Dr. Pogorzelska-Maziarz is an Epidemiologist and Health Services Researcher. She is a Professor at the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University. Her research focuses on prevention of healthcare-associated infections across the healthcare continuum and antibiotic stewardship. Dr. Pogorzelska-Maziarz has authored over 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and other publications. She currently serves as an Academic Editor at Plos One and a section editor of the American Journal of Infection Control. In addition, Dr. Pogorzelska-Maziarz serves on the Board of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control, Inc. (APIC).
