Swami Subramanian is a globally recognized market access and pricing executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience shaping reimbursement, pricing, and commercialization strategies across oncology, rare diseases, vaccines, cell therapy, and gene therapy. Throughout his career, he has successfully guided market access strategies from early clinical development through launch and lifecycle optimization for some of the industry's most innovative and transformative therapies. Swami currently serves as Head of Global Pricing & Contracting at Regeneron, where he leads global pricing, reimbursement across oncology, immunology, rare disease, and advanced therapy portfolios. He partners closely with clinical development, medical affairs, HEOR, regulatory, and commercial organizations to integrate payer evidence requirements into development programs, optimize portfolio value, and prepare organizations for successful global launches. Prior to Regeneron, Mr. Nathan held senior leadership positions at NovoCure, Bristol Myers Squibb, Wyeth, and Merck & Co., where he played pivotal roles in developing global access and reimbursement strategies for numerous breakthrough therapies, including immuno-oncology, hematology, vaccines, and specialty biologics. His expertise spans health technology assessment (HTA), health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), innovative payment models, value communication, forecasting, and policy engagement with global reimbursement stakeholders. A frequent speaker at leading industry conferences, Swami is widely recognized for his thought leadership on reimbursement strategy, innovative contracting, and payer access considerations for advanced therapies and high-cost, one-time treatments. He has presented at major cell and gene therapy forums, sharing practical insights on navigating the evolving market access landscape for advanced therapeutic modalities. Swami holds a Master of Science in Health Economics from the University of Pompeu Fabra, a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
