Manolis Kellis, Professor, Computer Science, MIT

Manolis Kellis is a Professor of Computer Science at MIT, a member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and a member of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab at MIT where he directs the MIT Computational Biology Group (compbio.mit.edu). His research is in disease genetics, epigenomics, gene circuitry, non-coding RNAs, comparative genomics, and phylogenetics. He has authored >250 journal publications that have been cited > 190,000 times and has helped direct several large-scale genomics projects.  Among many honors, he received the US Presidential Early Career Award, the NSF CAREER award, and the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship.
