Frederic Bushman is the W. M. Measey Professor and Chair of Microbiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bushman received his bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, and his PhD from Harvard University. His research centers on genomics of human gene therapy, the human virome, HIV, and SARS-CoV-2.  Dr. Bushman has published over 400 research papers, which have been cited over 150,000 times.
