Christopher Juenger, Director, Regulatory Science, Policy, and Intelligence - North America Lead, CSL

Christopher Juenger is Director of Regulatory Science, Policy, and Intelligence – North America Lead for CSL. In this role, he shapes regulatory policy through strategic engagement with external and internal stakeholders aligned with CSL’s portfolio of biotherapeutics for rare and serious conditions. Prior to his current role, Chris was Chief of the Congressional and Oversight Branch of FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. While at FDA for over 15 years, he worked on a broad portfolio of legislative and policy initiatives for vaccines, blood products, and cell and gene therapies; many of which targeted rare diseases. In addition, he worked in extramural program management for the 1000 Genomes Project at the National Human Genome Research Institute, NIH. Chris earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William and Mary.
