Mark Langmead, Director, Revenue and Compass Operations, TransLink

Mark Langmead is Director, Compass Operations with TransLink.  He is responsible for revenue collection and the customer experience with the Compass smart card and ticket program in Vancouver BC. In this capacity, Mark developed and implemented the strategic plan to transition the organization from traditional magnetic strip fare media to smart tickets and cards. Mark is responsible for the development and implementation of long term strategic plans and the introduction of new fare products and features to increase ridership, revenue, and improve the overall customer experience. Mark is leading the introduction of Tap to Pay credit card and smartphone payments at TransLink which will begin next month.
