Oliver graduated in law from Christ?s College, Cambridge before training and qualifying as a solicitor with Freshfields.  He has worked both for UK and US law firms and specialises in financial crime and other corporate defence and compliance matters.  Oliver has worked closely with various clients including Aon where he was external counsel to its UK anti-corruption group during the FSA and US investigations.  More recently, he has worked for BP and Baxter as UK subject-matter expert on anti-corruption and anti-money laundering.  Oliver is half Italian and speaks Italian and French fluently and has publications in numerous books and journals.
