I have spent the last 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry and, more recently, in the medical devices industry.  My experience in Quality, Sales and Supply Chain has provided a solid grounding for my most recent foray into the world of Compliance, where I have worked for the last 6 years.   I started my career at Lilly, and I have also worked for Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and, currently, Baxter.  I have had the good fortune to have worked in South Africa ? the land of my birth ? as well as in Australia, the USA and the UK.  I hold degrees in human physiology and in pharmacy from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School.   I am also a certified trainer and life coach. I have a strong interest in processes and continuous improvement, believing that the necessary documentation that accompanies compliance activities should not get in the way of doing business.  I have a deep personal commitment to ethics and compliance in the industry and I am a strong supporter of self-regulation.
