Amy has worked within the transport planning and economic policy sector for almost 15 years, leading agendas with the public and private sector, covering investment in a broad range of transport policy agendas and infrastructure programmes.

As Director of Corporate Affairs at TfGM, her role is to manage the influence and develop a diverse national and international policy agenda from Smart Ticketing and air quality to governance and transformational change. Her role requires her to engage and influence the media, business, community and political groups, most recently providing direct support for the new Mayor of Greater Manchester and wider GMCA.

Previously Amy was responsible for leading the strategy team at TfN, overseeing the development of the successful Northern Powerhouse Independent Economic Review, TfN’s Strategic Transport Plan and has played a key role in developing TfN in becoming a statutory organisation.

Amy joined TfN from her role leading the Infrastructure, Transport and Housing Directorate at Sheffield City Region, where she was responsible for the delivery of major investment programmes in transport and wider economic infrastructure, and working with central Government to achieve financial and legislative devolution agendas.
