Silvia Mosquera is a Chemical Engineer from the Santiago de Compostela University in Spain and PDG (General Management Program) from IESE. She has an important track record in the airline industry after passing through the strategic consulting firm Accenture. From 2006 to 2009 she was the Director of Strategy and Network at Clickair, from 2009 to 2012 Director of Strategy, Network and Revenue Management at Vueling, and from 2012 to 2016 Chief Commercial Officer at Iberia Express, these last two airlines belonging to the IAG Group - parent company of British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Aer Lingus. In Nov 2016, she joined Avianca Holdings as Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Revenues. Today she is the Chief Commercial Officer of the airline. Her mission is focused on defining the commercial / distribution strategy and the brand / marketing plan for the airline, which includes the definition of prices and availability of flights, distribution through agencies/digital, and marketing.
