Frank is working for Icelandair as a Product Manager for Loyalty and Payments and is responsible for strategic projects and decisions with focus on optimizing customer experience and improving profitability. He joined Icelandair in 2019 and developed the payment strategy of the airline. Besides establishing an adequate governance for payments he focused on vitalizing relationships with providers and airline partners. In 2020 he was involved in reviewing and negotiating agreements with significant creditors as part of ensuring the financial restructuring of Icelandair. Prior to that, Frank built up a profound payment knowledge throughout various roles at American Express in Germany. On the issuing side he was responsible for business development of corporate clients and virtual card solutions - working close together with OTAs and consolidators. On the acquiring side he was leading a team to expand the business of merchants in the retail, e-commerce and travel sector. Frank studied International Business Administration and has a strong background in Sales & Marketing.
