Samir Agrawal is NIO U.S.’s Senior Director of Smart Hardware Engineering at NIO's US-based Advanced Research & Development Center within the Autonomous Driving team. His team focuses on compute, sensors, mechanical engineering, NPI, and vehicle safety. Before NIO, Samir was the Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Apple, working on schematic design, layout supervision, board bring up, and manufacturing support for various Mac platforms. Samir holds a Master’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and a BTECH degree in Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in India.
