Daniel Barel is the Co-Founder and CEO of REE Automotive, leading all product strategy, technology innovation and business operations. A start-up visionary who loves to build companies in fast-moving, complex environments, Daniel is a leader in the fields of transportation, social networking and marketplace. Driven by a strong background in strategy and Game Theory, his mission now is to transform e-Mobility and bring to market disruptive technology for zero-emission electric and autonomous vehicles. 
In 2020, Daniel was recognized as a game-changer and accepted the BloombergNEF Pioneer award on behalf of REE. Daniel earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
