Stephanie  is a passionate Primary School Teacher with a love for learning and making her students flourish in her care. Teaching at the little school with a big heart; St Columba's in Elwood for most of her teaching career. In her 9th year of teaching, Steph relishes any opportunity to build up her skills and knowledge of student learning and is passionate about creating learning environments where students express their creativity, discover new things and explore the world around them. Currently she is part of the pilot Teaching Excellence Program run by the Victorian Academy of  Teaching and Learning. She is extremely passionate about Sustainability, taking on the lead role of Sustainability leader at her school for the past 3 years. She won the 2020 ResourceSmart Primary Teacher of the Year award for her work to embed Sustainable practices in her school and local community. She loves empowering her students to be environmental warriors and to encourage and inspire those around her to develop an appreciation and care for our wonderful world.
