Nishan Mills is the Lead Technology Architect at the Research Centre for Data Analytics and Cognition at La Trobe University, Australia. He is a data scientist, researcher (Artificial Intelligence), educator, technologist, software practitioner and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in addressing technology challenges of multinational and multisector digital environments including Healthcare, Emergency Services, Transportation and Sustainable Energy Management.  He is also the technology lead on the award winning La Trobe Energy Analytics Platform (LEAP) which forms the technology vertical of La Trobe’s Net Zero program.  Most recently he founded and ran a successful technology start-up which services not for profits, charities and social tech enterprises in North America and Europe.
