Dr Joseph Sweeney | Lead Advisor

Joseph is an analyst with over two decades of experience in advisory services and consulting, in addition to decades of work in technical software development and business, as well as work in the education sector. Joseph has an extensive background in digital workspaces and is a Doctor of Education.
Joseph has a deep understanding of educational ICT. In early 2015, he was award a Doctorate for his thesis on student device deployment programs in Australian K-12 systems. He has an in-depth understanding of the nuances of ICT policy and implementation in educational settings. He has worked extensively with all levels of education, from preschool to K12, VET and higher education.  His undergraduate work was also featured during the 2013 aboriginal education conference and he received the University of Newcastle Medal for excellence in educational studies.
In recent years, Dr Sweeney has assisted multiple K12 education networks develop technology future state visions and strategies. 
Coming from a software development background, Joseph also has a solid, hands-on understanding of technologies and the challenges of deployment in complex educational settings.
