Day 1 @ 15:00

Utilising mobile technology beyond the boundaries of school

As we move into a world where mobile is king, students need to work beyond the boundaries of school

  • School of the past was bound where learning happened in one place, and information came from another. Now, we can bridge that gap
  • The use of 5G and mobile extends the classroom so students can explore, consider, collaborate and be creative in new ways, using mobile technology
  • The skills learnt go far beyond the specific apps they use – these associated learnings are forming their adaptivity to a complex, evolutionary world
  • Using mobile technologies builds a gateway between school and industry; the learning is in situ – just in time, on time and on site.
  • Products like IoT and data can be collected anywhere, analysed anywhere, and applied in context
  • We are breaking down the walls of education, to build a learning culture that transcends school, home, work and social.
