Drew has worked in education since 2014 starting his career in Abergowrie, a small Indigenous school, where he was exposed to a very different way of learning and culture. He returned to Brisbane in 2015 and began my teaching career at Marsden SHS. He has seen the school grow from 1800 students to the predicted 3400 in 2022. He is currently working as the Head of Support Services within the school, after 3 years being the head of year to a cohort of 600 kids. 

Drew is lucky to be at such an amazing school with so many different opportunities and experience. He gets to work with a very innovative team committed to improving the wellbeing of staff and students as well as reaching our wider community. He values the ability to feel connected to what he does and to seek improvement. 

Drew passionately believes in education and looks forward to what the next 20 years will bring.
