Carol has always enjoyed working in a challenging business environment with an organisation that appreciates hard work and integrity and entrusts its staff with client-focused responsibilities.
Carol graduated with Bachelor of Science and Technology degree but struggled to find work as a scientist. After working as a receptionist at CSC (Computer Science Corporation), the Director saw she had an eye for analysis and detail with a passion around numbers and hence offered her a position as a programmer where she was trained on the job. She developed skills within programming languages such as C++, C, SQL, Mainframe, SPAN (in-house C based language) and moved onto working on large projects such as the “Y2K Millennium Project” and implementing major superannuation companies onto web based platforms.
After having school aged children, Carol volunteered her time at her kids school, writing the weekly newsletter where the Principal at the time, realised her capabilities and professionalism which led Carol to becoming a vital employee at the college carrying out roles such as College Timetabler,  VASS Administrator, Marketing and Community Engagement Officer and Daily organiser. One of her highlights was assisting in the roll out of the school learning/management system, Synergetic and SEQTA. 
Currently employed at Alphington Grammar School as an Operations and Compliance Manager,  she and colleague, John Savopoulos, implemented a new School information system (SIS), Sentral, in record time.
