Barbara is the Executive Director of Play Australia. She has led the organisation since 1998 following employment in the Education and Local Government sectors in Victoria.  She has enjoyed significant leadership experience in the public sector, experience in working in partnership with the corporate sector, public relations and media experience, and skills, commitment and networks across politics and government. She has chaired the Australian Standards on Playgrounds Safety and supports the work of Play Australia across all areas of play nationally.
