Andrew is an internationally recognized psychometrician and educational assessment expert. 

Andrew is keenly interested, and has expertise, in Artificial Intelligence (AI). From 2017 to 2019, he gave lectures and held workshops in AI at the Department of Education, Beijing Normal University. He has written his own object detection software, programmed autonomous RC vehicles and trained Automated Essay Scoring models. He is also an expert in Computerised Adaptive Testing, a form of AI used in assessment.
Andrew is fascinated by the future of educational assessment in an AI world and will speak at EduTECH on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Education and eAssessment” which will be of benefit to anyone interested in educational technology.
