Ian Goodwin, Associate Director, Global Program Design, Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies

Ian Goodwin is Associate Director in the Global Program Design team at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnology (FDB), based in College Station, Texas. He has been at FDB for three years, having also served as Associate Principal Scientist in the Process Development group. Ian is currently responsible for providing technical and project scope development support to prospective clients engaged in CDMO selection for viral and non-viral cell & gene therapy products. Ian?s previous experience includes seven years working on the process development and manufacturing of adeno-associated virus (AAV) and lentivirus vectors (LV) in both academic and commercial start-up environments. Ian holds a Master?s Degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Drexel University College of Medicine and a B.Sc in Microbiology from The University of Pittsburgh.
