Peter Jamieson, Vice Chair, European Subsea Cables Association (ESCA)

Peter Jamieson is the Current Vice-Chair, and former Chair, of the European Subsea Cables Association. Peter is the Principal Engineer for Subsea and Core Fibre at Virgin Media O2 where he manages all aspects of subsea cable infrastructure. Peter is member of the ITU Advisory Body on Submarine Cable Resilience,  a member of the UK government's Subsea Communications Cable Industry Group, Chair of the UK government's Incident Response Working Group and a member of the Irish governments Subsea Communications Cables Industry Forum. Peter has managed over 20 subsea cable repair operations and been succesful in several legal claims recouping over £3.5M.
