I was born in Sweden and moved to Townsville to become a vet in 2009. I graduated from JCU at 2013 and moved with my now husband Matt to Victoria where we both have been practising as mixed veterinarians in the beautiful Yarra Valley. I have also worked educating veterinary nurses at TAFE. We have spent a few years in Europe working and travelling before returning back to Victoria. We now run two mixed animal veterinary clinics, we have three beautiful children and two dogs! When I don't work I enjoy the outdoors and travelling. I have a special interest in public health and how that can be applied to veterinary practice, across all species. I am thrilled to get to speak in front of colleagues at VetExpo 2023, and talk about the importance of biosecurity and zoonotic disease we encounter daily in our profession.
