He graduated from Waseda University with a Doctor’s degree in Engineering (Applied Chemistry) in 2006. His research area is mainly developments of inorganic polymer and organometallic compounds in his university. He received the Best Review Award of the Journal of the Ceramic Society of Japan in 2006 and the Article Award of Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan in Nov. 2006.
He entered the company in 2006 and has worked for 11 years. Until 2016, he worked for development of functional glass by using wet coating technology at corporate research centre in Japan. He has mainly developed the materials for automotive and building, including anti-fog, UV cutting, water repellent, and self and easy cleaning. Until today, he has more than 20 patent credits under his name. Since June 2016, he is the Senior Director (Technology) at AGC Asia Pacific and is responsible for exploring technology collaborations with companies and institutions in Southeast Asia.
