Qian Zhong joined Google in January 2023 as the Subsea Quality Lead where he is responsible for ensuring the quality of Google's subsea network.  Prior to joining Google, Qian held various leadership roles in R&D, product line management, and sales at AT&T Bell Labs, Tyco Telecom, and SubCom, with a career in subsea industry over 30 years.  In his current role, he focuses on all aspects of quality in subsea network construction, including new product introduction, manufacturing and installation quality assurance, and O&M support.
