Alex Overstall joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022 as a Technical Business Developer, involved with developing Amazon’s subsea backbone infrastructure globally including the design, contracting and implementation of subsea cables and associated infrastructure. Prior to joining Amazon, Alex worked at Alcatel Submarine Networks for 7 years working in Sales & Marketing, Marine Maintenance (APMA PM) and as a Project Marine Manager for new build cable systems. Alex is an active member of various European Subsea Cable Association and International Cable Protection Committee working groups.
