Stefan Schori | Tenure Track Professor

Stefan Schori is a tenure track professor at the Bern University of Applied Sciences in Biel. He works as group leader of the Power Grids Group. He focuses on the effects of increasing electrification on the electricity grid. Stefan attaches great importance to close cooperation with industry in order to not only research solutions in theory, but also to implement them in practice. Together with his colleagues, he plans and models future electricity grids with distribution grid operators and analyzes the voltage quality in grids with a large number of new customer installations in extensive measurement campaigns.

To support the energy transition, he is chairman of TC 8 of Electrosuisse, chairman of the Decentralized Storage Expert Commission of Swissolar and a board member of the Power Quality Expert Group CH.
