Dr. Ioannis Lymperopoulos, CEO of ENEXAN, is an engineer with a focus on the future of energy systems. During his tenure at ABB's Corporate Research Center and Future Labs, he lead AI flagship projects on future power systems and made significant contributions to AI-powered solutions across diverse domains, including products, power systems, robotics, and automation.

Holding a Ph.D. in Stochastic Dynamical Systems from ETH Zurich, his academic foundation is complemented by a keen interest in leveraging machine learning techniques to optimize energy systems, encompassing buildings, batteries, electric vehicles, and power grid services.

Dr. Lymperopoulos founded ENEXAN with the vision to propel the company to the forefront of energy innovation with AI-centric software solutions. Today, ENEXAN holds a prominent position in the energy sector, with a track record of successfully applying advanced AI technologies to design large scale battery stations, optimize them for economic return and estimate their performance in wholesale and balancing energy markets.
