Dr. de Brauwer is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Economy and the Environment in St.Gallen University, where he investigates investor and consumer preferences for business model innovations at the intersection of renewable energies and electric mobility. To this aim, Cris and his team colleagues collaborate with various companies to translate corporate sustainability strategies into actionable value propositions yielding both sustained economic returns as well as positive socio-ecological impacts. Furthermore, Cris is a Research Associate at the INE Institute on Sustainable Development at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), where he undertakes prospective assessments on the diffusion of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology to support the grid-friendly integration of renewable energies. His expertise cuts across the market acceptance of clean energy technologies, citizen investments in community energy innovations, renewable energy policy support schemes, and sustainability transitions within the energy domain.
