Hiệp hội Năng lượng Việt Nam / Vietnam Energy Association (VEA)

The Vietnam Energy Association is a non-governmental, non-profit professional social organization composed of individuals, organizations, and businesses engaged in the energy sector or related to investment, construction, mechanical engineering, and the trade of energy equipment and materials. It is involved in the exploration, survey, extraction, processing, storage, import, and export of energy, as well as other manufacturing sectors supporting the development of the energy industry in Vietnam.

The association is officially known in English as the Vietnam Energy Association, abbreviated as VEA.

Formerly known as the Investment and Construction Association of Vietnam Energy, the association changed its name according to Decision No. 1203/QD-BNV dated October 21, 2010, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The current regulations of the Vietnam Energy Association were approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs under Decision No. 1203/QD-BNV mentioned above.

The association is under the state management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with its office located at Room 210, Building G3B, Thanh Cong Residential Area, Nguyen Hong Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

The association publishes the Energy Vietnam magazine, with the online version always available on the association's website.
