Mr. Tarek Ketelsen is the Mekong Technical Lead at AMPERES, part of the Alluvium Group, specializing in water resources management, river basin planning, and climate resilience across Southeast Asia. With over 15 years of experience, he has led technical advisory and project management roles supporting government agencies, multilateral organizations, and development partners in Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ketelsen served as Executive Director of AMPERES and worked with the Australian Water Partnership, UNDP, ADB, and the World Bank on river basin management strategies, climate risk assessments, and infrastructure resilience projects in the Mekong region. His work focuses on integrating hydrological science with sustainable development planning.
Mr. Ketelsen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from The University of Western Australia, specializing in water engineering and environmental systems.
