Dr. Phạm Văn Đại received his PhD degree in economics and finance from Flinders Business School in Australia. During more than 10 years of doing economics and consultancy, his research centers around the growth strategy of nations, cities, and firms.

He was a key member of Viet Nam Economics and Policy Research Institute and led the research division. After that, he moved to industry and took some senior roles in Fortune 500 companies and international consulting firms.

Working at the intersection of academia, policy consulting, and industry practitioner, Dr Dai want to particiate into the process that close the gaps and misalignments between the assumptions used in policy- making processes and the real-life business activities.

He published in peer reviewed journal like Australia Economic Papers, Singapore Economics Reviews, Journal of Economics Studies, and contributed to editorial books on Viet Nam economy.
