I am a Partner at Duane Morris LLP and an International Attorney at Law, as well as a Certified Financial Accountant and Auditor. I earned my PhD in International Business Law. I have been working as a Commercial Lawyer in Vietnam for more than 20 years and in Myanmar for 8 years. The European Commission in Brussels and the EU Delegation in Hanoi engaged me in 2021 to be the lead advisor for the implementation of the EU Vietnam Free Trade Agreement for the next 2 years.

I am fluent in Vietnamese (at negotiation and presentation levels) and basic in Burmese. I am the longest-serving Board Member of the GERMAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION VIETNAM ("GBA"). I am the only foreign lawyer in Vietnam who teaches law in the Vietnamese language at the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi for over a decade.

I have expertise in the commercial and legal framework of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Compliance Training according to SEC Rules in Vietnamese language, advising on turnkey renewable energy projects in Vietnam, International Taxation, and International legal and commercial expertise. I have more than 20 years of extensive experience advising on financing transactions and Export Credit Agency (ECA) financing projects in Vietnam. I have advised on close to 100 transactions related to banking and ECA financing from Germany, Japan, France, and the US during the last 20+ years in Vietnam.

My expertise includes setting up investment funds, commercial negotiation skills in the Vietnamese language, legal advice, commercial advice, country-specific advice, and special Vietnamese language skills.

I have received several certificates awarded by the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi for improving investment relations between the European Union and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. I have been awarded LEADING LAWYER VIETNAM for the last 4 years in a row by LEGAL 500 for Mergers and Acquisitions.

Specialties: I am the only foreign lawyer in Vietnam who presents international topics to the Vietnamese Assembly in the Vietnamese language. I have received several awards from the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi.

I am also an Adjunct Professor at the FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY IN HANOI.
