Minh Nguyen is the Country Manager for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) in Vietnam. With two decades of experience across diverse sectors, she brings deep expertise and insight to her role, delivering GEAPP’s mission in Vietnam to accelerate an equitable energy transition by promoting renewable energy adoption and advancing battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Before joining GEAPP, Minh served as an Investment Manager for the USAID Vietnam Urban Energy Security Project, where she played a key role in providing transaction advisory support and mobilizing investments for renewable energy projects. Her efforts focused on addressing investment barriers and enhancing project bankability to support Vietnam’s clean energy landscape. Prior to her role with USAID, Minh held senior relationship management positions at HSBC in Vietnam and Australia, where she delivered tailored banking solutions for large multinational corporations, adeptly managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships to drive strategic growth.
Minh holds an MBA from Delaware State University and a Bachelor of Economics from the National Economics University in Vietnam. Known for her dedication to sustainable development and collaboration, Minh is well-positioned to deliver impactful outcomes for GEAPP’s initiatives in Vietnam, furthering the organization’s mission to expand global access to clean energy.
