He served as the Director of ESG at Vingroup and VinFast, where he led initiatives to embed sustainability into the business culture and enhance long-term sustainability performance.

Dr. Carroll’s ESG expertise spans multiple industries, including mining, hospitality, and real estate. He has worked with major corporations such as Barrick Gold, Anglo Ashanti, Placer Dome, and Baker Hughes/Western Geophysical, driving ESG strategies and initiatives across diverse sectors. His leadership in ESG has been further demonstrated through his focus on loss control, risk management, and creating value through continuous improvement.

As a member of the Pacific Basin Economic Council (PBEC), Dr. Carroll has made significant contributions to the ESG landscape, applying his knowledge to complex challenges in multinational settings.
