Mr. Koji Fukuda serves as the Chief Advisor for Climate Change at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), an independent administrative institution established under the law concerning the Independent Administrative Institution Japan International Cooperation Agency (Law No. 136, 2002).
JICA, as the agency responsible for administering Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA), is committed to promoting international cooperation and fostering the socioeconomic development, recovery, and economic stability of developing regions. Guided by the vision of "Leading the world with trust" and a mission to advance human security and quality growth, JICA engages across four priority domains: People, Planet, Prosperity, and Peace, aiming to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
