The Startup & Innovation Hub of Ho Chi Minh City (SIHUB) is a public service unit operating in the field of science and technology under the management of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology.

Functions and Responsibilities:

•    Ecosystem coordination and connectivity: Bringing together and connecting resources within Ho Chi Minh City's innovation and startup ecosystem, both domestically and internationally.
•    Policy communication: Promoting government policies on innovation and entrepreneurship to the broader community.
•    Collaboration hub: Serving as a focal point for collaboration on innovation and entrepreneurship with domestic and international organizations and technology corporations.
•    Public sector innovation: Driving innovation in public sector operations.
•    Ecosystem support activities: Organizing initiatives to promote and support the innovation and startup ecosystem.
•    Innovation and startup services: Providing a range of support services for innovation and entrepreneurial ventures.
•    Scientific research and technology development: Conducting research, developing, applying, and transferring technology across various fields.
•    Legal mandate: Performing other innovation and startup-related functions as stipulated by law within Ho Chi Minh City.

SIHUB plays a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment for innovation and startups, contributing significantly to the city's socio-economic and technological progress.

Trung tâm Khởi nghiệp sáng tạo Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh là đơn vị sự nghiệp công lập thuộc lĩnh vực khoa học và công nghệ trực thuộc Sở Khoa học và Công nghệ Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.

Trung tâm có chức năng tập hợp và kết nối các nguồn lực trong hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo của Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, trong và ngoài nước; tuyên truyền các chính sách hỗ trợ của Nhà nước về đổi mới sáng tạo và khởi nghiệp cho cộng đồng; Đầu mối hợp tác trong và ngoài nước về đổi mới sáng tạo và khởi nghiệp với các tổ chức, tập đoàn công nghệ trong nước và quốc tế; Thúc đẩy đổi mới sáng tạo khu vực công; Tổ chức triển khai các hoạt động thúc đẩy và hỗ trợ hệ sinh thái đổi mới sáng tạo và khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo; Cung cấp các dịch vụ hỗ trợ đổi mới sáng tạo và khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo; Nghiên cứu khoa học và phát triển công nghệ, ứng dụng công nghệ và chuyển giao công nghệ và các chức năng khác về khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo trên địa bàn Thành phố theo quy định pháp luật.
