The Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI) was established in 2002 with the purpose of connecting businesses in the mechanical engineering industry to create cooperation and support the development of the mechanical industry to meet the demand for domestic products as well as participate in supplying products to foreign markets. At the same time, the Association also acts a bridge between businesses and the Government to promulgate and implement appropriate policies and mechanisms to facilitate the production, business and export processes of businesses in the industry.

In the context of increasingly international integration, new opportunities and challenges, the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry have always accompanied the mechanical business community nationwide to continue to promote and support the development of the mechanical industry, contributing to building a strong, independent and self-reliant economy and national defense.

Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp cơ khí Việt Nam (VAMI) được thành lập năm 2002 với mục đích kết nối các doanh nghiệp trong ngành cơ khí tạo nên sự hợp tác, hỗ trợ phát triển ngành để đáp ứng nhu cầu về sản phẩm trong nước cũng như tham gia cung cấp sản phẩm cho các thị trường nước ngoài. Đồng thời, Hiệp hội cũng là cầu nối giữa các doanh nghiệp với Chính phủ để ban hành và thực thi các cơ chế chính sách phù hợp tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho quá trình sản xuất, kinh doanh, xuất khẩu của các doanh nghiệp trong ngành.

Trong bối cảnh quốc tế ngày càng hội nhập, đứng trước những cơ hội và thách thức mới, Hiệp hội doanh nghiệp cơ khí luôn đồng hành cùng cộng đồng doanh nghiệp cơ khí cả nước để tiếp tục thúc đẩy, hỗ trợ ngành công nghiệp cơ khí phát triển góp phần xây dựng nền kinh tế, quốc phòng vững mạnh, độc lập, tự chủ.
