Dr. Orn Supaphol is the Chief Technical Officer at Saudi Desert Control, where she leads the development and deployment of innovative soil restoration technologies. With a Ph.D. in soil science from Kasetsart University (Thailand) and Newcastle University (UK), and decades of experience spanning academic research and industry application across Thailand, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, Dr. Orn is pioneering the application of Liquid Natural Clay (LNC) technology to transform arid lands. Her work directly supports Vision 2030 sustainability goals through water conservation, sustainable agriculture, and desert afforestation. Currently collaborating with Estidama, Princess Nourah University, and King Saud University on sustainable agriculture research, Dr. Orn has been nominated for the V60 Award for Women Leading Climate and Sustainability, named among the 200 Global Power Women Leaders 2024, and honoured as a GreenSignature™ Global Impact Honouree 2026. She bridges scientific expertise with practical applications to address pressing environmental challenges in the MENA region.
