Engr. Silverio Navarro, Jr. is a Renewable Energy Consultant with experience in the industry since 1990. He had trainings on renewable energy and green finance in Thailand, Indonesia, China, USA, and Germany. Engr. Navarro served as renewable energy consultant for donor agencies such as the Asian Development Bank, International Finance Corporation, World Bank, USAID, UNDP, UNOPS, GIZ, and the European Union for local and international projects.  He is actively working with Philippine government agencies such as the Department of Energy, Energy Regulatory Commission, National Electrification Administration, National Power Corporation, Department of Trade and Industry Bureau of Product Standards, as well as with Non-Government Organizations and local governments on policies, regulations, planning, and capacity building.  Engr. Navarro provides consulting services for the Bank of the Philippine Islands since 2009 with the International Finance Corporation for the Sustainable Energy Finance program which later expanded to Sustainable Development Program. Under the program, he conducts techno-financial due diligence and provides recommendations to the bank clients in making the projects technically feasible, financially viable, and compliant to government regulations.
