Randal began his career as a senior aviation engineering officer in the Royal Air Force before joining Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) as Programme Manager for the Jaguar I-Pace, leading the EV from concept to production. He went on to spearhead the electrification of JLR’s UK retailer network, delivering EV tooling, training, and charging infrastructure to support the I-Pace launch. He later became Managing Director of an established business, successfully building a new EV charging division and driving it toward a £1m first-year revenue target. He was subsequently headhunted as Chief Operating Officer for Urban Fox, a Balfour Beatty-backed startup, delivering an award-winning retractable on-street EV charging solution. He was then recruited again as Group COO and CTO for Project EV and Project Curv, where he led the integration of the two companies into a unified business focused on advanced EV charging and net-zero home energy solutions. Now open to new opportunities following redundancy, Randal is also a regular speaker on EV and renewable energy conference circuits and works as a consultant across EV, charging infrastructure, and sustainable energy.
