Mark is the founder of Deep Green sold to Octopus in 20023. He has grown multiple businesses from scratch to scale. Back in the early 00s he was the co-founder of Artists First, the legendary music software platform which helped transform the industry from CDs to digital downloads. His current portfolio includes Juicy (free domestic batteries), Tx (tokenised hashrate) and Slingshot (algo trading). His exits include Lifted to British Gas (Senior care), Altogether to GSK (dental healthcare) and Secret Source to ElevateUK (augmented tech teams). He is an investor in Caldera (Heat Batteries), Optect (AI flame detection), NewChange (FX data aggregation) Ctrl Alt (FCA registered fractional ownership) and RasTech (containerised aquaculture). He holds a number of other board positions and previously consulted to a range of FTSE 100s on M&A strategy and innovation.
