Storage plays a key role in the adoption of solar energy, and this theatre explores both residential and large-scale storage solutions. Sessions will cover financing models, grid integration, battery technology advancements, and safety considerations, including fire risk monitoring. In addition to battery storage, it will also look at alternative energy storage technologies, such as thermal energy storage, compressed air energy storage, and pumped hydro, and their role in improving grid flexibility and optimising renewable energy use.
