Diana Arango is a senior project manager and Lead Coordinator for the Energy Sector at KfW Office Jakarta. She is responsible for the strategic development of the energy portfolio of the German Development Financing Cooperation in Indonesia, covering renewable energy generation, transmission, distribution, and policy framework. Diana manages KfW’s energy projects in Indonesia from origination and structuring through financial closing to implementation that aim to accelerate a just, secure and affordable energy transition in Indonesia. As key account for German Financial Cooperation in Indonesia’s energy sector, she supports the implementation of the Just Energy Transition Partnership in close collaboration with KfW headquarters and relevant German and Indonesian stakeholders. She advises the German embassy, line ministries and other partners on energy-related issues and represents German Financial Cooperation in technical committees, high-level events and government negotiations. With more than 15 years of professional experience, Diana has focused her career on contributing to the development of a sustainable energy sector in emerging countries. She is a business administrator specialized in International Management, Management of Public and Non-Profit Organizations and International Relations from the University of Mannheim in Germany.
