SenseID Technology Pte. Ltd. has developed an advanced IoT-based PD monitoring system that consists of a patented PD sensor and a high-speed PD signal detector. It can be easily installed as a non-intrusive system for 24/7 PD monitoring. The PD sensor is a near-field electromagnetic (EM) sensor that is highly sensitive to pick up the PD generated EM emission from the electrical asset under test but is immune to ambient electromagnetic noise. By deploying multiple SenseID systems, PD occurrences from several monitored points can be captured simultaneously. Hence, it can provide useful information to trace the source of PD.
