PT Transportasi Jakarta, better known as Transjakarta, is a Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) established on March 27, 2014, under the ownership of the Jakarta Provincial Government. Operating the first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Southeast Asia since 2004, Transjakarta has grown into the largest BRT network in the world, serving millions of passengers daily across more than 250 routes.

Guided by the vision “Connecting Jakarta’s life”, Transjakarta is committed to providing integrated transportation services that are accessible, reliable, and affordable. Its services include BRT, Mikrotrans, Minitrans, and Metrotrans, all seamlessly connected with MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, KRL Commuter Line, and the JakLingko system.

In line with Jakarta’s environmental and sustainability goals, Transjakarta has begun operating a growing fleet of electric buses. These eco-friendly vehicles offer a modern, quiet, and comfortable travel experience while significantly reducing carbon emissions and air pollution in the city. The operation of electric buses positions Transjakarta as a pioneer in sustainable public transportation in Indonesia.

With nearly 10,000 dedicated employees, Transjakarta continues to modernize its infrastructure, improve service quality, and expand its reach to Greater Jakarta—ensuring that public transport remains the preferred choice for urban mobility.
